Miss Arpajou astounded all her listeners by the versability of her performance. Her pianism showed thoughout a confident technique, great independence in finger control, a beautiful singing tone as well as great virtuosity. Her performance showed a deep understanding of the various styles and purposes of the different composers.

Last but far from least was an oustanding performance by Arpajou, whose slight frame belies her strenght at the keyboard. BRAHMS Piano Concerto #1 gained intensity gradually, demonstrating the breadth of expression in Arpajou's performance from a graceful and whisper soft to tumultuous.
